Breaking Weather on Monte Rosa

Earlier in the afternoon an ominous cloud which spanned the sky from one horizon to the other had moved across Monte Rosa. It was a disappointing turn that continued a week characterised by unstable weather. As quickly as it arrived, it had passed, leaving some light puffs of cloud and the afternoon sun to grace the landscape below. Monte Rosa Massif from the Cappana Gnifetti, July 2014.
